A few weeks before i left Manila, Jp and i came across a game of curling televised on some cable channel. We were so baffled at this sport. What's with the intense sweeping??? I guess now i'm gonna find out first hand how this sport goes. this should be fun!

I'm the assigned leader for a group of Brazilian students who are part of this Winter Camp. I'm like the designated "ate". The school takes them out to experience Canada through these kind of activities. Last weekend we took them snowboarding at Whistler. Now naman, its curling. cool noh?

Snowboarding was awesome!!! the first weekend was hard, its so much harder than surfing (and more expensive) but i got to go again just this last weekend and i'm so stoked!!! i got a really nice wipeout, a horizontal flip in the air. i loved it hahaha.

tagal nako naintriga sa curling... does the sweeping really help?
it actually does. If you sweep it at the right time and at the right speed, it could add speed to the rock. but if you do it wrong, u'll miss your target. complicated eh hahaha.
